The Showgrounds at Sam Houston Race Park (www.theshowgrounds.com) will kick off the 2009 concert season with alternative rock act Fall Out Boy (www.falloutboyrock.com) and the “Believers Never Die Part Deux” Tour and acclaimed rapper 50 Cent on Saturday, April 18, 2009.  50 Cent will be touring in select markets and has chosen Houston as one of the few cities in which he will perform.  The tour will also feature performances from Cobra Starship, All Time Low and Hey Monday.

*Metro Station will not perform at the Houston event.

 

Prohibited Items: Video/audio cameras, large bags, firearms, weapons, projectiles, noisemakers, umbrellas, laser pointers, live pets, cans, bottles, video recording devices, outside food and beverage, aerosol cans.

Allowable Items: Cameras, Lawn chairs* (no bags), blankets, tarps, (no larger than a blanket), Rain ponchos, food & beverage purchased at the venue and strollers.

*Please note: Lawn chairs will be allowed ONLY on the grass area. Chairs will not be allowed on the concrete pad closest to the stage.
